KFC
KFC was founded in America by Harland Sanders, at the age of 62 and after he had previously tried to do various jobs: Captain on a ferry boat, insurer, seller in a lighting store, lawyer, tire seller, and even an amateur obstetrician!
He failed miserably in all of them, so much so that he even tried to commit suicide!
All this was done until 1930. Then, he took over a gas station, which had a restaurant on its side. There, he started serving chicken to the travelers, which he made himself with a recipe that only he knew!
Ten years later, in 1940, he perfected his recipe. It contained 11 spices and herbs and part of it, was engraved behind the kitchen door at that gas station.
The first KFC opened in 1952 and in 1955, after managing to patent the unique recipe, it embarked on a marathon run to raise funds and grow the brand. He made over 1,000 meetings and finally, in 1964, at the age of 74, sold the KFCs to investors for $ 2 million! The sequel is known.
To date, no one has managed to discover the secret recipe of KFC, and neither is it!
There are over 21,000 KFC stores in more than 130 countries and territories around the world.
KFC loves the whole world, just as the whole world loves KFC.
Harland Sanders' original 11 Herbs and Spices recipe is still considered one of the best-known trade secrets in the food industry to this day. You can be sure of the originality of KFC's taste!
